## Who we are

TrickleType is a Chrome extension made by Tailsgate (“we”, “us”). These terms cover the extension, trickletype.com and TrickleType Pro. By installing or using TrickleType you agree to them.

## What TrickleType does

TrickleType types text you provide into a Google Doc you can edit, key by key, over a time you choose. You are responsible for the text you give it and for how you use the result.

- Use TrickleType only in Docs you are allowed to edit.
- Follow the rules of your school, employer or platform. TrickleType is a typing tool; it does not make work yours that isn’t.
- Don’t use it to break the law, to harm others, or to overload Google’s or our services.

## Free and Pro

TrickleType is free to use within the Free limits shown on trickletype.com/pro. TrickleType Pro removes or raises those limits and adds the features listed there. We may change the limits or features for new purchases; a plan you have already paid for keeps what it included for the period you paid for.

## Payments

Pro is sold through Freemius, which runs checkout, takes payment, adds any sales tax and sends your receipt. Prices are shown before you pay. Monthly and Yearly plans renew automatically until cancelled; Lifetime is a one-off payment.

## Cancelling and refunds

Cancel Monthly or Yearly any time from the link in your receipt email, or by emailing support@tailsgate.com; cancelling stops the next renewal. If Pro isn’t for you, email us within 7 days of a payment and we will refund it.

## Licence keys

Your licence key switches Pro on and is for your own use. Don’t share or resell it. A key works on a limited number of browsers at once; you can move it by deactivating it in one browser and activating it in another. We may switch off a key that is shared, resold or used to abuse the service, or whose payment is reversed.

## Cloud typing

Cloud typing (beta) types from our server into the Docs you pick, using the Google access you grant. It may be paused or changed while in beta, and a run can stop early if Google ends that access. Your draft for a cloud run is deleted when the run ends; the privacy policy has the details.

## No warranty

TrickleType is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running, but Google Docs, Chrome and Google’s services change, and we can’t promise TrickleType will always work, finish at an exact time, or be free of errors. Keep your own copy of anything important.

## Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost work, grades, data or profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us for TrickleType in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived.

## Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; if a change matters to paying users we will say so on this page before it applies. Continuing to use TrickleType after a change means you accept it.
